About Dave

Dave Bowles has been a frustrated writer for most of his life.  His column, This Bird’s View, was published in the Jacksonville State University school newspaper, The Chanticleer, for three years.  Married to Abigail and the proud father of two children, Kristen and Emily, he resides in Yorktown, Virginia.  He is a retired Army officer and works as a manager for a technology solutions company.  Dave draws inspiration from daily life.
